Return & Refund Policy
Full transparency regarding your consumer rights for digital products and services — in accordance with EU and Romanian legislation in force.
1. Digital Products (Modules, Code, Licenses)
Under Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014 (transposition of EU Directive 2011/83/EU), consumers have a right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, without providing any reason.
Explicit exception: The right of withdrawal does not apply to digital products (software modules, licenses, source code) where the supply has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgment that the right of withdrawal is lost once the download has commenced.
Since our modules and licenses are delivered instantly via a secure download link, and with express consent confirmed at checkout, sales of digital products are final from the moment of delivery.
2. Functional Warranty & Exceptions
EMPIRE GLOBAL SOLUTIONS S.R.L. provides a 90-day functional warranty on all digital products sold. If the product does not function as per its published description:
- Free remedy: we will correct the defect within a maximum of 5 business days from the date of reporting.
- Replacement: if remedy is not possible, we will provide an equivalent product or a credit of equal value.
- Full refund: if neither of the above applies, we will issue a full refund within 10 business days via the original payment method.
3. Custom Development Services
For custom software development services, withdrawal from the contract is governed by the specific clauses of the individually signed Service Agreement (SOW).
• Hours already executed and approved by the Client are non-refundable.
• Withdrawal before project start: full refund of any deposit paid if work has not commenced.
• Withdrawal during execution: billed proportionally to actual work completed and delivered, confirmed by activity reports.
